What's included

The planner for people who have no manager.

Running your own thing means nobody sets your priorities, nobody reviews your progress, and nobody notices when the important work has quietly not been touched for three weeks. The Entrepreneur Kit is a system that notices: a page per project, a page per meeting, the money, and a weekly view, all in one notebook.

Pre-order: this kit ships about December 10, 2026. Free shipping on US orders of $75 or more.

Disc-bound, lies flat 360°Undated and refillableCream 90gsm paper, fountain-pen friendly90-day returns

Everything you need to start

Project Tracker pages carry every project you are running, with milestones and a Blockers box. Meeting Summary pages mean no client conversation lives only in your memory. A Monthly Budget handles the money side, weekly AM/PM sheets let you block focus time before the week fills itself, and the 2027/2028 calendar catches the deadlines that arrive faster than they should. Ruled pages, dividers and pockets hold the rest.

A setup you can customize over time

Every page except the calendar is undated, so you can start in the middle of a chaotic month, lose a fortnight to a launch, and pick it back up without a wasted page. Pages lift off the discs: file a finished project, put a new one on top, and carry only what a meeting needs. More refills are available in the store as the business grows.

The system behind the pages

The work that grows a business is never urgent, which is why it needs the top of the page. Your Perfect Notebook already includes the Big Blocks Dashboard for up to four professional goals per cycle, the Daily Task Manager where one Big Block step goes first before you open email, and the Reflection Page that closes the cycle: what moved, what stalled, what you will stop doing.

Why the kit, and not just the notebook

  • It reviews the work when nobody else will. You are your own manager now. The two-week cycle and the Reflection Page are the performance review.
  • One system, not six tools. A client call creates an action, the action becomes a project milestone, and the milestone decides whether you invoice this month. On facing pages those links are visible; across apps, you are the connection.
  • A meeting without a written action item did not happen. Meeting Summary pages with an owner and a date for every action, written while you are still on the call.
  • Blockers become tasks. A blocker written down is a task; a blocker in your head is a worry. The Project Tracker has a box for it.
  • Paper doesn't notify. It does not autocomplete and cannot be scrolled past, which makes it a good thinking tool for the twenty minutes that decide your fortnight.

A week with the Entrepreneur Kit

  1. Every other Monday (30 minutes). Open the cycle: fill the dashboard with up to four professional goals, each broken into milestone tasks. Be honest about capacity.
  2. Every Monday. Fill the weekly AM/PM sheet before the week fills itself: focus blocks first, then the calls.
  3. Every morning. Pull one Big Block step onto today's page before you open email.
  4. Every meeting. Fill in a Meeting Summary with actions, owners and dates while you are still on the call.
  5. Weekly and monthly. Update the Project Trackers (15 minutes), and on the 1st fill the Monthly Budget, including what you put aside for tax.
  6. End of the cycle. Reflection Page: what moved, what stalled, what you will stop doing.

Who it is for, and who it is not for

It is for

  • Founders in the first years, freelancers and consultants, solo agency owners, and makers selling their own product.
  • Anyone whose calendar is filled by clients and whose own priorities have to fight for what is left.
  • People who are busy every day and cannot always say what actually moved that week.
  • Anyone who left a job partly to stop being managed badly, and found that managing yourself is its own skill.

It is probably not for

  • If you run a team that lives in a shared project tool, this is a personal system, not a replacement for it.
  • The calendar covers 2027 and 2028 only. Everything else is undated.

Made to be used, and refilled

The Perfect Notebook is a B5 notebook on cream 90gsm paper that is friendly to fountain pens, with rounded corners and 11 aircraft-grade aluminum discs. Pages lift off the discs and go back on, so the book is something you keep and refill rather than finish and throw away.

A gift for someone you care about

A useful gift for a friend who has just gone out on their own: a way to run the business week by week, with nothing else to buy to begin.

Made for the person who is the whole company

The Entrepreneur Kit is for the founder who is also the sales team and the accounts department, and who has to remember everything.

No. The weekly AM/PM sheets are undated, so you can start any week.

When will it ship?

Can I return it?
Yes, within 90 days. Unused products can be exchanged, and refunds are issued within 30 days of receiving the return.

This kit is a planning and record-keeping tool. It is not financial or legal advice.

Paper & Discs

Cream 90gsm paper, disc-bound spine — add, remove and rearrange every page anytime. When a section fills up, refills keep the same notebook going for years.

Good to know

If you run a team that lives in a shared project tool, this is a personal system, not a replacement for it. The calendar covers 2027 and 2028 only. Everything else is undated.

How to use it

A simple routine to start with.

Monday morning

Open the weekly page, block the week's hours, and write your three priorities.

After each client call

Fill in a Meeting Summary page so the action items and owners are on paper before you move on.

Every two weeks

Review each Project Tracker page: which milestones moved, what is blocked, what to drop. Plan the next two weeks. This is the manager's review you do not otherwise get.

Month start

Fill in the Monthly Budget and put invoice and tax dates on the calendar.

How to arrange it when it arrives

Build it yourself when it arrives — front to back. Nothing is fixed; the discs let you reorder anytime.

The system behind the pages

What you start with

A Monthly Budget handles the money side, weekly AM/PM sheets let you block focus time before the week fills itself, and the 2027/2028 calendar catches the deadlines that arrive faster than they should. Ruled pages, dividers and pockets hold the rest.

The method already in your notebook

Your Perfect Notebook already includes the Big Blocks Dashboard for up to four professional goals per cycle, the Daily Task Manager where one Big Block step goes first before you open email, and the Reflection Page that closes the cycle: what moved, what stalled, what you will stop doing.

The Icons Method — how progress tracking works

Every Big Block category has its own symbol — the sword in the stone for professional goals, the pinwheel for fun & recreation, the heart for relationships, the racket for body time, the sprout for personal growth, and the crossed tools for skill building. They appear in two places: at the top of every Daily Task Manager page, and in rows of ten under every goal on the Big Blocks Dashboard.

Step 1 — the daily page

Step 1 — the daily page

In the morning, circle the icons of the one or two goals you really want to advance today — not all six. That circle is a commitment. Then, during the day, colour the icon the moment you finish the step — the small, immediate reward for a step actually taken.

Step 2 — the dashboard

Step 2 — the dashboard

Colour one icon in the row under the matching goal for each real step you took — only on the day you did it, never from memory. The empty icons are the point: three empty icons mean three days you did nothing on that subject. That's information, not decoration.

Reading the rows

Reading the rows

Rows that fill quickly show where your energy naturally flows. Rows that stay empty are the method's most valuable output — a mid-cycle signal while there's still time to act. Ten is not the target; it's room to grow. See the full icon language →

Why the kit, not just the notebook

It reviews the work when nobody else will.

You are your own manager now. The two-week cycle and the Reflection Page are the performance review.

One system, not six tools.

A client call creates an action, the action becomes a project milestone, and the milestone decides whether you invoice this month. On facing pages those links are visible; across apps, you are the connection.

A meeting without a written action item did not happen.

Meeting Summary pages with an owner and a date for every action, written while you are still on the call.

Blockers become tasks.

A blocker written down is a task; a blocker in your head is a worry. The Project Tracker has a box for it.

Paper doesn't notify.

It does not autocomplete and cannot be scrolled past, which makes it a good thinking tool for the twenty minutes that decide your fortnight.

A useful gift for a friend who has just gone out on their own: a way to run the business week by week, with nothing else to buy to begin.
