What's included
The household command center: everyone's week, the meals and the money in one notebook.
A family runs on a hundred small logistics a week, and when they live in one parent's head, that parent never rests. The Family Kit puts the household on paper, on the kitchen counter, where everyone can see it, add to it and stop asking you.
Pre-order: this kit ships about December 10, 2026. Free shipping on US orders of $75 or more.
Everything you need to start
A Family Planner lays out everyone's week side by side, with columns for up to six people. A Weekly Meal Plan comes with its shopping list, a Monthly Budget and Weekly Budget Tracker keep the family money visible, and weekly AM/PM sheets help with the timings. The 2027/2028 calendar holds the dates that rule family life, and clear pockets finally give school papers, invitations and permission slips a home.
A setup you can customize over time
Every page except the calendar is undated, so you can start any week of the year, skip a chaotic week without guilt, and never waste a page. Pages lift off the discs, so the meal plan can go on the fridge while the rest of the book stays put. Add extra planner or meal-plan pages from the store whenever you run out.
The system behind the pages
Running a household does not mean you stop having goals. When family logistics fill every page, those goals quietly disappear: the week gets managed and nothing gets built. Your Perfect Notebook already includes the Big Blocks Dashboard for your own goals next to the household's, the Daily Task Manager where one of those steps goes first, and the Reflection Page for the end of a two-week cycle.
Why the kit, and not just the notebook
- Everything about the week is one system. The practice schedule decides the dinner, the dinner decides the shopping, the shopping decides the budget. On facing pages those connections are visible.
- The mental load becomes shared. A physical book on the counter can be checked and added to by anyone, so the answer to "what's happening this week?" is a page, not a person.
- School papers have an address. The rule is simple: a paper comes home, it goes in the pocket, and its date goes on the calendar.
- Meals and money are planned from the real week. Busy nights get easy dinners, and every purchase is logged the day it happens.
- Skip a week without guilt. Undated pages mean a chaotic week costs you nothing.

A week with the Family Kit
- Sunday (15 minutes, ideally with everyone). Fill the Family Planner column by column: who has what, who drives, who picks up. Plan the meals from what the week actually looks like and write the shopping list.
- Daily. Log every purchase on the Weekly Budget Tracker the same day: what, category, amount.
- When a paper comes home. It goes in the pocket and its date goes on the calendar.
- Payday or the 1st (20 minutes). Fill the Monthly Budget: income, bills with due dates, variable categories and the savings goal.
- Sunday again. Total the tracker, tick the bills paid, empty the pockets and set next week's pages.

It is for
- Households where one person carries the whole calendar in their head.

- Parents tired of being the only one who knows what is for dinner.

It is probably not for
- If your household already runs happily on a shared phone calendar, you may not need a second system.
- The pocket pack holds small papers, not full pages: the pockets are A5, smaller than the B5 notebook pages.

The system behind the pages
What you start with
A Family Planner lays out everyone's week side by side, with columns for up to six people.
The method already in your notebook
Running a household does not mean you stop having goals. When family logistics fill every page, those goals quietly disappear: the week gets managed and nothing gets built. Your Perfect Notebook already includes the Big Blocks Dashboard for your own goals next to the household's, the Daily Task Manager where one of those steps goes first, and the Reflection Page for the end of a two-week cycle.
A setup you can customize
Every page except the calendar is undated, so you can start any week of the year, skip a chaotic week without guilt, and never waste a page. Pages lift off the discs, so the meal plan can go on the fridge while the rest of the book stays put. Add extra planner or meal-plan pages from the store whenever you run out.
The Icons Method — how progress tracking works
Every Big Block category has its own symbol — the sword in the stone for professional goals, the pinwheel for fun & recreation, the heart for relationships, the racket for body time, the sprout for personal growth, and the crossed tools for skill building. They appear in two places: at the top of every Daily Task Manager page, and in rows of ten under every goal on the Big Blocks Dashboard.
Step 1 — the daily page
In the morning, circle the icons of the one or two goals you really want to advance today — not all six. That circle is a commitment. Then, during the day, colour the icon the moment you finish the step — the small, immediate reward for a step actually taken.
Step 2 — the dashboard
Colour one icon in the row under the matching goal for each real step you took — only on the day you did it, never from memory. The empty icons are the point: three empty icons mean three days you did nothing on that subject. That's information, not decoration.
Reading the rows
Rows that fill quickly show where your energy naturally flows. Rows that stay empty are the method's most valuable output — a mid-cycle signal while there's still time to act. Ten is not the target; it's room to grow. See the full icon language →
