What our customers are saying:
What's inside
Nothing in the kit is decorative — every piece has a job.
The Perfect Notebook
The heart of the kit. A B5 disc-bound notebook (6.9″ × 9.8″ — bigger than A5 for real planning, small enough to go everywhere), with thick cream 90gsm paper that is fountain-pen friendly and 11 aircraft-grade aluminium discs. It opens flat, folds back on itself, and opens a full 360°.
Big Blocks Dashboards — three options
The page that runs your cycle, in three versions: the combined dashboard, the Professional dashboard, and the Personal dashboard — professional and personal printed back to back on the same sheet.
Daily Task Manager pages
One page per day. Big Block steps at the top — always first — then Priority A and B, People To Call, a Parking Lot for non-urgent tasks, and a Notes box.
Reflection Page
Printed on the other side of the Professional/Personal Big Blocks Dashboard sheet, so the beginning and the end of your cycle live on the same piece of paper.
Weekly calendar pages refill
The week at a glance, hour by hour, with a deadline box under every day. Place one at the front of each week so appointments and goals live in the same book.
Plastic Index Dividers
Durable tabs that split the notebook into instant sections — current cycle, notes, archive — so you flip to the right page without searching.
Clear plastic pockets — 5 pack
Punched pockets that snap onto the discs. Receipts, tickets, business cards, a folded document — the loose paper of everyday life finally has an address.
Who it's for
The Starter Kit is built for people who have goals and a full life at the same time — and are tired of one crowding out the other. If you have tried apps that you stopped opening, or planners that were too rigid (every page pre-printed and dated) or too empty (a blank book and good intentions), this is the middle path: a printed method that guides you, on discs that let you change everything. Because the pages are undated, you can start any day of the year — there are no wasted months, and skipping a week costs you nothing.
How to use it
Plan · Act · Monitor · Reflect — the loop, step by step.
Plan
Every two weeks, open a fresh Big Blocks Dashboard and choose the handful of goals, professional and personal, that actually matter for the period. A goal that lives on the page stops consuming your head all day.
Act
Each morning, pull small concrete steps from the dashboard into the “To-Do Today / Big Blocks” section of the daily page — always before Priority A and B, because a step toward a bigger goal is the highest-value use of your day.
Monitor
At the end of each day, colour the icons you advanced on the daily page, then carry them to the dashboard. The rows tell you the truth about where your attention goes.
Reflect
At the end of the cycle, turn your dashboard sheet over and fill in the Reflection Page. What you learn there is what makes the next dashboard sharper and more realistic.
How to arrange it when it arrives
Arrange one two-week cycle, front to back. Nothing is fixed; the discs let you reorder anytime.
1. Big Blocks Dashboard
Your goals for the cycle. Pick the combined page, or the professional/personal sheet — the Reflection Page is printed on its back.
2. Weekly Calendar — Week 1
From the included refill: the week at a glance.
3. Daily pages — Week 1
All seven, one per day, behind the weekly calendar.
4. Weekly + Daily — Week 2
Same pattern for the second week.
5. Blank pages to free write
Notes, ideas, lists — anything.
6. Dividers and pockets
One divider at today's page, one at the dashboard, one at the free-write section — and a clear pocket at the back for receipts and loose papers.
The rhythm of a cycle
Closing the loop
When the cycle ends, flip your Professional/Personal Big Blocks Dashboard sheet over — the Reflection Page is on the other side. Fill it in while the cycle is fresh: what moved, what was neglected, and why. Then place a new dashboard on top and set your next goals with what you learned. This is how each cycle plans the next one better.
Carry only what you need
Keep the current cycle in the notebook and archive the rest — unused templates and finished pages alike. The notebook is modular, so nothing is wasted: skip a day or two and the unused pages simply wait. No guilt, no wasted paper.
The Icons Method — how progress tracking works
Every Big Block category has its own symbol — the sword in the stone for professional goals, the pinwheel for fun & recreation, the heart for relationships, the racket for body time, the sprout for personal growth, and the crossed tools for skill building. They appear in two places: at the top of every Daily Task Manager page, and in rows of ten under every goal on the Big Blocks Dashboard.
Step 1 — the daily page
In the morning, circle the icons of the one or two goals you really want to advance today — not all six. That circle is a commitment. At the end of the day, colour the icons of the Big Blocks you actually advanced — finished a workout? Colour the racket. Had the coffee with your friend? Colour the heart. Took a real step on a work goal? Colour the sword.
Step 2 — the dashboard
Colour one icon in the row under the matching goal for each real step you took — only on the day you did it, never from memory. The empty icons are the point: three empty icons mean three days you did nothing on that subject. That's information, not decoration.
Reading the rows
Rows that fill quickly show where your energy naturally flows. Rows that stay empty are the method's most valuable output — a mid-cycle signal while there's still time to act. Ten is not the target; it's room to grow. See the full icon language →
Tips from experienced users
Start small
Your first cycle should be modest: two or three goals, not six. The Reflection Page will tell you if you can carry more.
Start today
The notebook is undated on purpose. Begin today — not on Monday, not on the 1st of the month.
Plan at night
Write tomorrow's daily page the evening before. You will start the day executing instead of deciding.
Mark icons daily
Colour your icons at a fixed moment — many users do it each evening. It takes thirty seconds and keeps the graph honest.
Archive and reread
When a cycle ends, lift it off the discs and store it. Twice a year, reading your old reflection pages is worth more than any productivity book.
Use real ink
The 90gsm cream paper takes fountain pen, gel and highlighter without bleed — use the pens you love.
Pockets are an inbox
A pocket at the back for receipts, one at the front for things that need action — empty them at reflection time.
A buy-once system, guaranteed
The Starter Kit is a buy-once system: when pages fill up, refills keep the same notebook going for years — daily pages, weekly and monthly calendars, ruled, dotted, squared and blank paper, and the full Big Blocks system. Every kit is covered by a 30-day replacement guarantee: if a disc snaps or a cover wears, it's replaced free. Ships from the USA.
