What our customers are saying:
What's inside
The system tuned for working life — and what each piece does.
The Perfect Notebook
The heart of the kit. A B5 disc-bound notebook (6.9″ × 9.8″ — bigger than A5 for real planning, small enough for any bag), with thick cream 90gsm paper that is fountain-pen friendly and 11 aircraft-grade aluminium discs. It opens flat, folds back on itself, and opens a full 360°.
Big Blocks Dashboards — three options
Choose the combined dashboard, or the Professional and Personal dashboards — with the Reflection Page on the reverse. At work, the professional page carries projects and deliverables; the personal page makes sure the office does not swallow everything else.
Daily Task Manager refill
One page per day, and extra pages for heavy weeks. Big Block steps at the top — always first — then Priority A and B, People To Call, a Parking Lot for the tasks that land on you mid-meeting, and a Notes box.
Weekly calendar refill — AM/PM
The office week at a glance: Monday to Sunday in half-hour rows from early morning to late evening, with a Deadline Today box under every day. Built for a calendar full of meetings.
24-Month Calendar Refill
The month at a glance, undated, with a Big Block goals column and notes column. Deadlines, launches and travel live here — visible weeks before they hit your daily pages.
Reflection Page
On the back of the Professional/Personal dashboard. The beginning and the end of your cycle on the same sheet of paper.
Sticky Notes
For everything that must move: action items you delegate, notes you pass on, reminders that jump from the daily page to the weekly spread. If it needs to travel between pages — or people — it goes on a sticky note.
Plastic Index Dividers
Durable tabs that split the notebook into instant sections — current cycle, meeting notes, archive — so you flip to the right page without searching, even mid-call.
Who it's for
The Work Kit is for people whose days are shaped by other people: meetings, deadlines, requests that arrive mid-task. If your calendar is full but your goals still stall — if you end busy weeks unsure what actually moved forward — this kit is built for you. The method separates what is urgent (the day) from what is important (the Big Blocks), and the AM/PM weekly plus the monthly planner make sure nothing with a date ever lives only in your head or your inbox. Because the pages are undated, you can start any day of the year — and a vacation week costs you nothing.
How to use it
The month, the week and the day — three horizons, one system.
The month
Everything with a date goes on the month spread the moment it is agreed: the deadline promised in a meeting, the quarterly review, the launch. This is your radar.
The week
On Sunday or Monday morning, lay out the week on the AM/PM spread: meetings first, then blocks of protected time for Big Block tasks. A goal that never gets a time block is a wish.
The day
Each morning (or the evening before), pull small concrete steps from the dashboard into “To-Do Today / Big Blocks” — before Priority A and B. Interruptions land in the Parking Lot, not in your focus.
How to arrange it when it arrives
Build it yourself when it arrives — front to back. Nothing is fixed; the discs let you reorder anytime.
1. Monthly Calendar
The current month — the first thing you see. Deadlines, launches, travel and reviews live here.
2. Big Blocks Dashboard
Your goals for the cycle. Pick the combined page, or the professional/personal sheet — the Reflection Page is printed on its back.
3. Weekly Calendar (AM/PM) — Week 1
The week of meetings at a glance. Block time for Big Block tasks before the meetings eat the week.
4. Daily pages — Week 1
All seven, one per day, behind the weekly calendar.
5. Weekly + Daily — Week 2
Same pattern for the second week of the cycle. Then a few blank or ruled pages — meeting notes, ideas, free writing.
6. Index Dividers
One in front of today's daily page, one at the dashboard, one at your meeting-notes section. Move the first one forward each day — the notebook always opens where the day starts.
The rhythm of a cycle
Closing the loop
When the cycle ends, flip your Professional/Personal Big Blocks Dashboard sheet over — the Reflection Page is on the other side. Fill it in while the cycle is fresh: what moved, what was neglected, and why. Then place a new dashboard on top and set your next goals with what you learned. When a month ends, swap in the next month's spread the same way.
Carry only what you need
Keep the current cycle in the notebook and archive the rest — unused templates and finished pages alike. The notebook is modular, so nothing is wasted: skip a day or two and the unused pages simply wait. No guilt, no wasted paper.
The Icons Method — how progress tracking works
Every Big Block category has its own symbol — the sword in the stone for professional goals, the pinwheel for fun & recreation, the heart for relationships, the racket for body time, the sprout for personal growth, and the crossed tools for skill building. They appear in two places: at the top of every Daily Task Manager page, and in rows of ten under every goal on the Big Blocks Dashboard.
Step 1 — the daily page
In the morning, circle the icons of the one or two goals you really want to advance today — not all six. That circle is a commitment. Then, during the day, colour the icon the moment you finish the step — shipped the deliverable? Colour the sword right then. Took the walk at lunch? Colour the racket. The small, immediate reward for a step actually taken.
Step 2 — the dashboard
Colour one icon in the row under the matching goal for each real step you took — only on the day you did it, never from memory. The empty icons are the point: three empty icons mean three days you did nothing on that subject. That's information, not decoration.
Reading the rows
Rows that fill quickly show where your energy naturally flows. Rows that stay empty are the method's most valuable output — a mid-cycle signal while there's still time to act. Ten is not the target; it's room to grow. See the full icon language →
Tips from experienced users
One home for deadlines
The moment a deadline is agreed in a meeting, it goes on the month spread — not in your head, not only in a calendar invite.
Protect time first
Block Big Block time on the AM/PM weekly before the week starts. Meetings expand to fill whatever you leave undefended.
Sticky notes are for actions
During meetings, capture action items on sticky notes — yours go to your daily page, others' get handed over. Nothing leaves a meeting living only in memory.
Close the day at the desk
Write tomorrow's daily page before you leave the office. You will start the day executing instead of deciding — and stop carrying the task list home in your head.
Three dividers
One divider at today's page, one at the dashboard, one at meeting notes — three flips cover the whole workday.
Archive — it is your review file
When a cycle or month ends, lift it off the discs and store it. Before a performance review, your old dashboards and reflection pages are the best record of what you actually did.
Start small
Your first cycle should be modest: two or three goals, not six. The Reflection Page will tell you if you can carry more.
A buy-once system, guaranteed
The Work Kit is a buy-once system: when pages fill up, refills keep the same notebook going for years — daily pages, weekly and monthly calendars, ruled, dotted, squared and blank paper, and the full Big Blocks system. Every kit is covered by a 30-day replacement guarantee: if a disc snaps or a cover wears, it's replaced free. Ships from the USA.
Busy weeks, actually moving.
The method separates the urgent from the important — so full calendars stop stalling real goals. Buy it once. Refill it forever.
