The PAMR Method
How does it work?
A notebook and a task manager designed to help you achieve your goals and work-life balance, using a four-step system: PLAN · ACT · MONITOR · REFLECT.
STEP 1
PLAN.
Plan your “BIG BLOCK” goals for the next two-week cycle.
A “BIG BLOCK” is a personal or professional task or goal requiring more than one day to complete, and can be broken down into a few daily tasks.
STEP 2
ACT.
Add to your daily task manager a few small tasks that will get you closer to finishing a “BIG BLOCK” task.
Then, add all your other tasks to the daily task manager according to their priority. Now, act and complete your tasks.
STEP 3
MONITOR.
Cross completed tasks in the daily task manager and mark your progress in the “BIG BLOCKS” dashboard, and gain a visual graph of your focus for the period.
STEP 4
REFLECT.
At the end of a cycle, use the REFLECTION page to learn how you can improve your next cycle.

We put a lot of thought into the design of the Perfect Notebook to make sure it would be both effective and beautiful.
The colour palette
The Perfect Notebook couldn’t just use black ink. We tested many colors and shades and finally opted for a color palette which used the classical Montblanc Leo Tolstoy ink as reference. This beautiful ink shade, printed on a thick, 90gsm, cream colored paper just looks great.
Colour as priority
However, color is not just about looks. We decided to use colors as a simple and intuitive prioritization tool in the daily task pages.
The mechanism is simple — darker blue equals high priority. Lighter blue equals lower priority:

The quality of the perfect notebook is outstanding. The pages are thick and so far none of my pens/markers leak through. I was a little hesitant because of the discs but the ones on the perfect notebook are nice and the pages stay in easily.
The only negative is the price of shipping. My notebook shipped out and came quickly but the high price is off-putting.
Finding my groove!
This notebook is absolutely great. I'm a big fan of the goal-setting/follow-up system. The pages are easy to write on and can handle a large variety of inks, with minimal ghosting, no bleed-through and little-to-no feathering. I'm about 3 weeks into using it daily, and it has made me a more organized and productive person overall. I'm in love with it.
It's a great size to carry everywhere and every day. Easily fits in a bag or pack and the pages are plenty large for adding your notes.

This is an amazing goal setting, tasks management and general notebook combo that really worked for me. I love it, especially the ability to rearrange the goals and daily tasks pages to the front as needed. I easily moved pages around to suit my workflow. The quality far exceeded what I expected. Good
Went for a year and a half without using this. Started back with it earlier this month. I had forgotten what a joy it is to use a format that works and paper quality that thrives under fountain pens. But I do wish it came in a smaller size like A5 or Travellers notebook then I could hotswap it into a recycled leather case.
So easy to use and keeps me organized! The cover is sturdy and it’s perfect !

Have been searching for a planner that suits my busy lifestyle and this notebook/planner does so perfectly. Love the fact that I can only have as many planner pages in the book as I need and when it gets too bulky, I can take them out and file them.
The accessories and notebook pages are perfect additions and I can't recommend this system highly enough.

This is the notebook I've been looking for! I love being able to rearrange the pages so easily. My first order contained the Big Blocks Planning Pages. Although this page organization doesn't suit my purposes, I have personalized these pages with some old-fashioned cutting and pasting. My second order was for blank pages, calendar pages, and lined pages. Now I'm in business! I would love to see an 8.5 x 11 notebook option as well as an option with more page capacity. The inserts were all I could ask for and the quality is outstanding. I only wish at the least the back cover was more solid so it doesn't bend and flex if you are writing on a non-hard surface. Overall I would give it an A-. Very happy and will buy again.
